Gold clouds drift sideways in front of a red circle. The gold leaf bites into the grain of the paper. Horns wear spatters of ink. The chain hangs to the throat as an ornament joining circles and dots. So much is left blank that the sheet seems to have finished speaking. Only the spacing of the dots slips out of the clouds. Follow the clouds with your eyes, and the blank closes the one place where you were standing.
