Modern Art Deco

Gold rises in fans, at one angle, from the floor to the crown. Black panthers sit still on their pedestals. Only the hand with the cup takes the light. The marble floor reflects the two who kneel, a second pair, underneath. In the reflection there is no cup. Only the chain is longer, under the floor. The symmetry is too perfect. You cannot place yourself on either side.
