Modern symbolism

Someone scraped the card before the paint dried. Gold leaf stays in the bottom of the scratches. The moon remains broken behind the horns. Flames burn at the same height on both sides of the pedestal. The chain splits in two from the goat's bones on the chest. The scratches stop once, outside the picture, and do not cross the frame. Trace them with a finger, and it is not paint that peels. It is the skin on your side.
